Phishing Prevention: Protecting Rx Business Transactions

October 13 | Webinar

Business Email Compromise (BEC) — also known as Email Account Compromise (EAC) — is one of the most financially damaging online crimes today. Through these scams, criminals typically send email messages that are disguised to appear like a known source (such as a business partner or regular vendor) making a legitimate request (such as updating an invoice), when in reality the email did not come from the known source.

BEC and EAC exploit the fact that so many of us rely on email to conduct business, on both a personal and professional level. Versions of these scenarios have happened to real victims in the pharmaceutical supply chain, and can involve thousands, or even hundreds of thousands, of dollars being “re-directed” to criminals — instead of where those funds were legitimately intended. View this webinar to learn more about BEC and EAC, and how you can protect your company’s assets, from experts in the digital/cybersecurity space.
