Description

Healthcare Ready (HcR) was founded in 2007, after Hurricane Katrina, with the goal of ensuring patient access to medicines and healthcare during times of crisis. Associations and companies from the pharmaceutical supply chain, and the American Red Cross, came together to establish a first of its kind partnership between the public and private sectors. In times of crisis, HcR activates Rx Open, a one of its kind online map showing the open status of pharmacies in disaster areas.
