Value Drug’s Modico Brothers Reflect on Nearly 50 Years in Healthcare Distribution
While many lead fulfilling, long-term careers in the healthcare distribution industry, the Modico brothers of HDA member Value Drug Company are part of a rare group of distribution experts who have done it for nearly 50 years.
The latest installments of HDA’s Faces of the Supply Chain series feature the brothers — Dave Modico, Warehouse Manager, and Sam Modico, Innovation Manager — who have been along for about half of Value Drug’s 90 years in business. Filmed at the company’s distribution center in Altoona, Pa., the brothers recount their decades in distribution and discuss the meaning behind their work.
