HDA and the HDA Research Foundation Name Governance Appointments
January 23, 2026Today, the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) and the HDA Research Foundation announce the following governance updates.
HDA Board of Directors
The HDA Board of Directors approved the appointments of Timothy Ward, Founder, President, and Chief Legal Officer of Hercules, as well as Kyle Hoffman, SVP Vendor Relations, Medline Industries, LP, to the board.
“Tim and Kyle bring deep pharmaceutical industry and business expertise to the HDA Board of Directors,” said Chip Davis, President and CEO, HDA. “Their experience and leadership will be a valuable asset as we continue to advance the interests of our members and strengthen the healthcare supply chain.”

HDA Research Foundation
Additionally, Layne Martin, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Specialty, Morris & Dickson, was named board chair of the HDA Research Foundation. Martin has served on the board for several years. Steve Noetzel, Senior Director, Trade Strategy and Distribution, Johnson & Johnson, was appointed vice chair. Tom Mullen, Chief Strategy Officer, Pharmsource, joined the Foundation’s board as a new member.
