PCSC’s GDP Program Adds Four Accredited Companies

April 10, 2025 The Healthcare Distribution Alliance’s (HDA) Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition (PCSC) announced its Good Distribution Practices (GDP) Accreditation Program has accredited four new companies: KL Harring, Baylor Trucking, Tucker Company Worldwide and Prime Inc. The companies have completed all the necessary training and assessment requirements and join DeSpir Logistics as fully accredited through the program.

“The response to the GDP Program has been astounding,” said Chuck Forsaith, Vice President of HDA's PCSC. “I congratulate KL Harring, Baylor Trucking, Tucker Company Worldwide, Prime Inc., as well as DeSpir Logistics, for their initiative and leadership. The dedication of their employees throughout the assessment process is a shining example of this industry’s commitment to supply chain safety and security.”

Since the GDP’s launch a year ago, ASC Associates Ltd, a firm with extensive experience developing and implementing GDP training programs in Europe, has partnered with the PCSC to develop and administer the program.

“These GDP-accredited companies are well positioned to take on the challenges facing the pharmaceutical supply chain,” said Henry Moran, Chief Operating Officer of ASC Associates Ltd and advisory board member of the PCSC. “Several companies are currently training to become accredited in the coming months, and we continue to hear from organizations who are interested in participating in the program. I look forward to continuing ASC Associates’ partnership with Chuck and the PCSC’s GDP Program this year.”

The GDP Accreditation Program provides pharmaceutical supply chain stakeholders, primarily those providing vendor services, the ability to demonstrate familiarization and adherence to recognized GDP operational and training criteria. Complying with these standards can help mitigate distribution deviations.

Companies may apply to the program, and if accepted, applicants will undergo an assessment process based upon a set of standards, including those of the European Medicines Agency. Upon successful completion of the assessment and training process, an accreditation standing will be awarded by HDA (valid for two years, with an option for renewal).

The GDP program will be discussed at the HDA PCSC Educational Seminar on April 14-16 in Whippany, New Jersey.
