HDA and the HDA Research Foundation Name Governance Appointments

January 18, 2023 The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) and the HDA Research Foundation today announce the following governance updates.

First, HDA appointed two new members to its Executive Committee and Board of Directors:
  • Debbie Weitzman, Chief Executive Officer, Pharmaceutical Segment, Cardinal Health, Inc.; and,
  • Rich Tremonte, EVP and President, US Pharmaceuticals & Animal Health, AmerisourceBergen Corporation.
Mr. Tremonte replaces Robert Mauch, Chief Operating Officer of AmerisourceBergen Corporation, on the Executive Committee and Board. Mr. Mauch is the immediate past Chairman of the association.

Second, the HDA Executive Committee approved four new appointments to the HDA Research Foundation Board of Directors:
  • Bob Fasola, Vice President, Trade and Distribution Accounts, Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc.;
  • Resa Gilmore, Executive Director, National Supply and Care Delivery, Genentech, A Member of the Roche Group;
  • Clint Syvinski, Co-CEO/Chief Operating Officer, Mutual Drug; and,
  • Heather Zenk, RPh, PharmD, President, US Supply Chain, AmerisourceBergen Corporation.

The HDA Foundation is pleased to welcome the collective experience of Bob, Resa, Clint and Heather onto our board, as we work to deliver research and education on the inner workings of the pharmaceutical supply chain,” said Perry Fri, Executive Vice President and COO, HDA Research Foundation.

Craig Cowman, Executive Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and Manufacturer Services, Cardinal Health, will continue as the HDA Research Foundation’s Chairman in 2023, with Steve Giuli, Vice President, Government Affairs and Trade Relations, Apotex Corp., serving as Vice Chairman.
