KPBMA is the largest pharmaceutical industry organization in Korea. KPBMA was founded in October 1945 and as of 2022, it has 245 pharmaceutical companies as its members. To achieve its goal of 'Improving national healthcare through the sound development of the pharmaceutical industry', KPBMA plays a variety of roles such as policy supporting activities, providing education, strengthening the global infrastructure and ethical management.
