Today, discarding excess medication in healthcare facilities and pharmacies facilities enables diversion. The current process is cumbersome, expensive, can result in lengthy investigations, and is proofless. MIDAS has created the VIEW™— an intelligent, technology-rich medication disposal system that will revolutionize drug wasting and address diversion—healthcare’s hidden epidemic.

Description
Every day along our highways and in our communities, people are forced to sell sex as victims of human trafficking at truck stops, rest areas, hotels/motels, private homes in our communities and other locations. Every day, members of the transportation industry are in these same places and able to make a difference. Tips from truck drivers alone have helped to identify countless victims of trafficking, thanks to knowing the signs. TAT, which has been known as Truckers Against Trafficking, is raising up a mobile army that is able to recognize and report trafficking, leading to the recovery of victims and arrest of perpetrators. Learn how you can empower employees to effect change and aid in the disruption of human trafficking networks across North America. Join Heather Fry, director of Industry Training with TAT, to learn how your company can get involved in this effort and become a changemaker in this fight.
Since 2020, Bristol Myers Squibb and TAT have partnered to increase human trafficking awareness in the pharma supply chain industry. Kim Murphy, Corporate Security, BMS analyst, joins TAT to discuss how they are increasing awareness within their own company and driving change in the fight against human trafficking.
