Hotel and Travel Information

Pack your outdoor gear! HDA has negotiated a special room block specifically for our event attendees at The Broadmoor. All conference attendees should make every effort to stay at the official event hotel. Supporting the official hotel room block provides HDA staff support to resolve hotel reservation disputes; ensures attendees receive all applicable discounts and materials, as well as maximize their conference experience; and assists HDA in maintaining affordable, quality programming. Conference attendees will also receive additional perks such as a 25% discount on golf rentals and 10% discount on spa services!

Reservations: Check In: 4:00 PM | Check Out: 12:00 PM 
Room rates are $386 per night (single/double occupancy) plus taxes.  Reservations can be made here.

Reservations will require a credit card and a deposit for one room night. Reservations at the group rate are available on a first come, first served basis until Friday, May 19, 2023. After this date, the hotel will only accept reservations at the HDA group rate based on space and rate availability. All reservation requests will require a credit card, a deposit for two (2) room night(s), or a guarantee to the Master Account. Deposits will be refunded for rooms cancelled more than seven (7) days prior to arrival. Important cancellation and change notice regarding  individual  names  in  the  system:  In  order  to prevent a cancellation or change fee of two night’s room rate, cancellation or reduction in arrival and/or departure dates must be confirmed no later than seven (7) days prior to your arrival date. This section does not alleviate Group’s obligations under attrition and cancellation or other sections of the contract. Reservations will not be accepted without individual names and form of payment. Should the hotel block become full, a waitlist will be established for those needing rooms. Should any rooms become available they will be distributed in a first come, first served basis.

We highly recommend you secure a hotel room prior to booking travel.

All changes and cancellations should be communicated directly to the hotel. Rooms cancelled less than 3 days from the scheduled arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of one night, plus applicable taxes. Early departures and no-shows will be treated as cancellations and charged according to this policy.

Driving Directions from Colorado Springs Airport:
Head west onto the Milton E. Proby Parkway. Continue onto Drennan Road.
Turn left onto S. Academy Blvd. After 1.1 miles, take the ramp onto US-85.
Turn left onto US-85 N/US-87 N. After 3.2 miles, turn left onto Lake Avenue.
Continue straight through 3 traffic circles to reach the main gate to The Broadmoor.

Airport Shuttle Service:
Round-trip and one-way shuttle service is available to and from both the Colorado Springs Airport.
Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance.
