Artificial intelligence is poised to fundamentally reshape the economics of the pharmaceutical industry — transforming how medicines are discovered, developed, distributed and delivered. This presentation begins by stepping back to explore what AI truly is from an economic perspective — its drivers, value creation mechanisms, and how it has transformed productivity, labor, and market dynamics.
