Jason Hollar is chief executive officer of Cardinal Health, a Dublin, Ohio-based distributor of pharmaceuticals, a global manufacturer and distributor of medical and laboratory products, and a provider of performance and data solutions for healthcare facilities.

With more than 25 years of experience across global finance, manufacturing, distribution and business development, Hollar has robust experience in driving performance improvements, promoting business growth and leading teams in dynamic environments. As CEO, he leads the $205B company and its 48,000 global employees both in building connections across the continuum of care and in moving healthcare forward to support customers and their patients every day. Prior to his current role, he served as Cardinal Health chief financial officer (CFO), where he helped the enterprise prioritize investments in its capital deployment, strengthened the balance sheet and drove operational improvements.

Previously, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Tenneco Inc., a global automotive products and services company and as chief financial officer of Sears Holding Corporation. Earlier in his career, he also worked with both Delphi Automotive and Navistar in a number of global, senior finance roles. During these experiences, he lived and worked in the United States, Europe and South America.

Hollar serves as an active member of the Board of Directors for Cardinal Health, Red Oak Sourcing, DaVita Kidney Care and Junior Achievement of Central Ohio, and is also a member of the Business Roundtable, the Columbus Partnership and the Ohio Business Roundtable. He is passionate about fostering opportunities for young adults through education, skill-building and hands-on learning, and has been involved with Junior Achievement throughout his career.

Hollar received his master of business administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago and his bachelor’s degree in business (BS) from Indiana University.
