Alicia Boler Davis has been CEO of Alto Pharmacy since September 2022. She joined to help scale the technology company that’s transforming healthcare by making the pharmacy experience better for everyone. She has been leading high-performing teams through complex environments at global companies for nearly 30 years. Alicia’s motivating passion is to have an impact by focusing on people — both customers and team members.

Before Alto, Alicia was with Amazon for more than three years, where she served on the senior leadership team, leading global customer fulfillment, which included: operations, customer service, sustainability, product safety, real estate and construction, and robotics and technology. Alicia started her career in the pharmaceutical industry as a production engineer and later joined General Motors as a manufacturing engineer. At GM she served in senior leadership roles in manufacturing, product development, product quality, customer experience and President of the OnStar business. Prior to leaving GM in 2019, she led global manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, labor relations and sustainability.

Alicia has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Northwestern University, a Master of Science in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Indiana University. In 2018, Alicia was named one of “The Most Powerful Female Engineers” by Business Insider, “Black Engineer of the Year” by Career Communications Group, and in 2020 and 2021 she was named one of Fortune’s “Most Powerful Women.” Alicia is a director of JPMorgan Chase and a Trustee of Northwestern University.
